YSU Admission List 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to inform the general public especially UTME aspirants of Yobe State University that the YSU Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released.

How to Check YSU Admission List.

As of the time of this publication, the Yobe State University , YSU prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal.

Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!

Check Admission Status On School Portal

Soon the list will be available on the Yobe State University Admission Portal, once that happens we will update this page.

Admitted Students Should Note the Following:

1. Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal to ACCEPT or REJECT your admission offer. 
2. Candidates who have received a notification of admission from jamb and have not seen their names on the below list, should contact the admission officer for clarification.
3. YSU Clearance Documents: JAMB Original Result Slip (UTME candidates only), JAMB Original Admission Letter, University’s Admission Letter, Original candidates credentials (SSCE result, Indigene Letter, Birth/Declaration Age certificate, A’level result (for DE students). Print your Admission Letter Online

• Go to YSU Admission Portal
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number and RRR Code
• Proceed to Print Admission Letter
