UI Acceptance Fee Amount, Payment Procedure 2025/2026 Session [UPDATED]

This is to inform all students who have been offered admission into the University of Ibadan (UI) through UTME/DE that the management of the institution has announced that payment of the acceptance fee has commenced. 

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are hereby advised to proceed with the payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000.00) on www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. Candidates who are yet to generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will NOT be entertained.

All admitted students must have printed their JAMB Admission Letter before they can pay the UI non-refundable acceptance of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000).

Candidates who are yet to check their admission status and generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will not be entertained.

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) via the University Admission Portal: www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. The admission portal will open on Monday, 10 November, 2025 to Friday, 05 December, 2025. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline.

UI Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure.

Kindly ensure that you follow the guidelines carefully:

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Candidates are required to log-in to the Admission Portal using their login details.

Payment Options:

Card – Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card
Bank Branch – Cash at bank using the print-out from the admission portal to make payment at the bank. Candidates should login to admission portal after payment at the bank to reconcile their bank branch payment.

Candidates are advised to print their payment success receipt.

Important Notes:

* Consequent upon the payment of the prescribed acceptance fee by candidates, they are expected to present the originals of their credentials to designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance at a date to be communicated later.
* Thereafter, candidates who are found qualified at the clearance exercise will be matriculated at an impressive ceremony as bona-fide students of the university.

* If it is discovered at the clearance exercise or any other time that a candidate has gained admission with insufficient, irregular or inauthentic credentials, the university reserves the right to withdraw the admission.

They are then to proceed to upload the following documents:

• An Institution’s copy of the JAMB Admission Letter
• O/L result(s)
• PIN/SERIAL Numbers of WAEC/NECO scratch card for O’L results

The admission portal will open on Monday, 10 November, 2025 to Friday, 05 December, 2025. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline

REMINDER: Candidates whose admission has been approved, but yet to be accepted are advised to proceed to Jamb Portal to accept the offer on CAPS. They cannot pay the acceptance fee until they have accepted and printed their admission letters.

Further information on clearance will be released in due course. Candidates are therefore advised to check the portal from time to time.
