Reactions have trailed Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu’s action after he stormed out of a meeting with the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) at the ministry’s conference room in Abuja.

Adamu had scheduled an imprompt meeting with the leadership of NANS, who barricaded the entrance to the ministry while protesting the one-month warning strike declared by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) leadership.
Trouble started when the students asked Adamu to vacate his office since he could not resolve the crisis between the ASUU and the government.
Adamu said he was “disappointed with their comments” and stepped out of the meeting.
