Elechi Amadi Polytechnic matriculation ceremony date for the 2025/2026 academic session has been announced.


This is to inform all Students and Staff that the Orientation Programme for Fresh Students has been scheduled for Monday 9th to 11th March, 2026.
This will be followed by the 35th Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Academic Session scheduled for Thursday 19th of March, 2026 at the Polytechnic Sports field.
The Orientation Programme will hold as follows:
TUESDAY 10TH MARCH, 2026
- School of Science – 9:00am (Morning Session)
School of Engineering Studies (Afternoon Session)
School of Financial Studies – 12:30pm (Afternoon Session)
Venue: Hall 1
WEDNESDAY 11TH MARCH, 2026
- School of Business and Administrative – 9:00am (Morning Session)
- School of Legal Studies (Morning Session)
- School of Environmental Sciences (Afternoon Session)
- School of Information Technology (Afternoon Session)
National Diploma (HND) Students are directed
All year I National Diploma (ND) and Higher to be seated at the Hall.
Please take note of the information and pay your School fees in full and complete all registration formalities latest by Tuesday 17th March, 2026 to enable you collect your Matriculation nos and sign the Matriculation Register.
1.0 Payment for collection of Academic Outfit (Gowns/Caps):
Payment of school fees including matriculation fee for collection of Academic Gowns Caps is compulsory for all year 1 students in the various Diploma, National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme(s) of the Polytechnic.
1.01 Matriculating Students are required to collect the Academic Gowns Caps , only students who had completed payment of fees including matriculation fee are eligible to collect the Academic Outfit at the designated collection points.
1.0.3 Returning of the Outfit by Students
All Academic Gowns Caps are to be returned to the collection point in good condition immediately after the Ceremony, only for every additional day. A loss/damage attracts a replacement or such student will not be allowed to write the semester examination.
1.0.5 Who Shall Matriculate
Only year 1 Higher National Diploma (HND) Diploma and National Diploma (ND) students who have completed all registration formalities shall participate in the ceremony.
1.0.6 Signing of the Matriculation Register and Pledge
All Matriculating students shall sign the Matriculation pledge and the Matriculation Register. A copy of the signed pledge must be submitted to the Examinations and Records Officer immediately after the Ceremony.
1.10 General
The Matriculating Students are not allowed to take photograph(s) in the field during the Matriculation Ceremony.
