ABU Zaria Screening and registration documents for Newly Admitted Students 2025/2026


We are pleased to inform the public that the management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has released the Screening and Registration Documents for Newly Admitted Students for 2025/2026 session.
Newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session are hereby invited for screening and verification of their certificates/results from 1st December to 15th December, 2025.
It is pertinent to note that the specified time is for the first phase of the exercise. The second phase of the exercise will commence on 6th January, 2026.
The University Management invites the affected students to note as follows:
- They are requested to visit the University Post-UTME portal to upload copies of the following documents:
JAMB results (for UTME students),
JAMB Admission Letter,
NIN slip,
Indigene Certificate,
Birth Certificate,
O’ level certificate(s)/statement of results,
A’ level certificates/statement of results (for DE students) and
attestation letter/affidavit (if any). - They are to present scratch cards, pin for verification of their O’ level results. While for the A’ level, original certificates must be presented. However, in a situation whereby the original is not ready, ‘certified true copy’ must be provided.
- After the screening, the students will be enabled on the University portal to be able to generate REMITA for payment of school charges. Then, they can proceed to print the University admission letter and reserve a bed space via the portal.
- The students are hereby advised not to engage in any form of bed space selling or buying. Selling, buying or giving out a bed space is not allowed, therefore it attracts a penalty.
