Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria Inter- Faculty and Inter-University Transfer Forms for 2024/2025 are Now on sale. The Forms close on Sunday, 30th November 2024.
This is to inform the general public of the commencement of sale of Inter-Faculty and Inter-University transfer forms for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The sales of the forms would commence from Friday, 25th October, to Sunday, 30th November, 2024.
- For Inter-Faculty Transfer, interested candidates should log onto the ABU portal at https://portal.abu.edu.ng to access his/her portal and from there click on inter-faculty transfers. The candidates are to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000.00) only using their ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment in any commercial bank in the country.
- For Inter-University Transfer, interested candidates should log onto the ABU portal at https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms and fill out the form. Candidates must pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) only using their ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment in any commercial bank in the country.
NOTE:
- Transfers are only allowed for candidates who have attained two consecutive academic sessions.
- Direct Entry candidates must attain at least a session (two unbroken semesters).
- The minimum CGPA for Inter-Faculty transfer is 1.00 while the minimum CGPA for Inter-University transfer is 2.40.
- Transfers are only allowed from 200 levels and above.
- Candidates for Inter-University Transfer must satisfy the University minimum entry requirements for admission.
- Candidates withdrawn or expelled from other universities are not acceptable for transfers.
- There is no provision for accepting transfer to the College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, and Faculty of Law.
- Transfers to programs are based on the carrying capacity of the department.
