Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Circular On The Senate Decision On Deferment Without Payment Of Student’s Charges/fees For Implementation.


Following the deliberation and decision of the University Senate on the deferment of a session or semester without payment of student’s charges/fees, all Deans are hereby informed that:
- Students who wish to defer a session are hereby allowed to do so without paying the charges for the session.
- Students who wish to defer the semester are hereby allowed to do so but must pay half (1/2) of the charges for the session before the end of the registration period.
- All registration charges paid prior to a deferment are NOT refundable.
The above decisions were extracted from the 526th Regular and 535th (Regular) meetings of the University Senate held on 31″ August, 2023 and 25th April, 2024 respectively.
