Prof. Ibrahim Umar, Rector of Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola, has announced that the university’s senate has given approval for the institution to begin offering Degree programs in 2021.
Umar who disclosed this on Tuesday, February 2 in a news conference in Yola, the state capital, said the approved Degree Programs is subject to final approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC).


The polytechnic which is an affiliate of the University of Maiduguri is currently running 19 accredited programs, approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), in Seven Faculties of the institution.
Some of the degree courses to be offered are; B.A English, B.A Mass Communication, B.A Business Education, B.Sc Banking and Finance, B.Sc. Accountancy and B.Sc. Economics.
