Adamawa State University Mubi Gets New Vice Chancellor

Adamawa State University, Mubi has officially announced the Appointment Of New Vice-chancellor

Following the recommendation of the Governing Council, Adamawa State University, Mubi and subsequent approval by the visitor, His Excellency, the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Governing Council hereby pronounces the appointment of Prof. Augustine Clement as substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University. This followed the recommendation of joint Couricil and Senate Selection Board which interviewed twenty three (23) applicants for the post. The appointment takes effect from Wednesday, 5th February, 2025:

Prof. Augustine Clement is a distinguished scholar of Monogastric Animal Nutrition in the Department of Animal Production. He served the University for over a decade of dedicated service ih Teaching, Research and Community Service in the University. Prior to this appointment, he was the Director IJMB and Remedial Studies and had heid ‘severai Academic and Administrative positions in the University, including current member of the Governing Council and imimediate past Head of Department, Animal Production.

Prof. Clément’s remarkable achievements in scholarship have earned him numerous awards and distinctions, both nationally and internationally in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Monogastric Animal Nutrition.

Prof. Clement hails from Demsa Local government area of Adamawa State and has widely travelled across the globe. He is happily married with children and enjoys reading, engaging in charity activities, community activities and mentoring younger professionals.

On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, students and the entire University community, I hereby congratulate Professor Augustine Clement for his well-merited appointment and wish him successful tenure in office.
