Adamawa State University (ADSU) Announces 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony Date has been announced.


The University Management has approved the conduct of the 21st Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 Academic Session, scheduled as follows:
- Date: Friday, 30th January, 2026
- Time: 10:00 am prompt
- Venue: Boni Haruna Campus Football Ground
Management has further declared Friday, 30th January, 2026 as a lecture free day for matriculating students only.
All matriculating students are required to be seated at the venue before 8:30 am.
Collection and Return of Academic Gowns for the Matriculation Ceremony
This is to inform all newly admitted students that the collection of academic gowns for the 21st Matriculation Ceremony, scheduled to hold on Friday, 30th January, 2026, will commence on Wednesday, 28th January, 2026 by 10:00 am.
The collection of academic gowns shall be carried out at the respective Faculty Offices.
During collection, students are required to present the following documents:
- A photocopy of a duly signed and stamped registration payment receipt; and
- A photocopy of the admission letter.
Students are hereby informed that the academic gowns shall be issued free of charge.
However, any damage to or late return of the gowns shall attract appropriate penalties.
All academic gowns must be returned on or before Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026, to the respective Faculties from which they were collected.
Furthermore, students are advised that academic gowns shall not be issued by proxy.
Consequently, all students are required to appear in person for the collection of their gowns.
Please, ensure that you comply strictly with the contents of this circular.
