Faculty of Management Sciences;

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
This programme aims to:
- Provide university degree opportunities for candidates seeking career advancement
- Enable certificate upgrading and additional degree attainment
- Enhance job prospects in the labour market.
AKSU Top Up/Conversion Degree Programmes Admission Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:
1. Applicants must possess a minimum of five O’level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) subjects at Credit Level or above at not more than two sittings.
2. Evidence of Completion or Exemption or Exclusion Certificate from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA) WHO SHOULD APPLY
The following individuals can apply:
1. HND/HNC certificate holders..
2. Graduates with third class or Pass degree certificate..
3. Professional certificate holders (e.g, ACA, ANAN, NIM, CITN, ICAN, CIBN, CILGPAN) without a degree qualification.
4. Graduates with interest in career change within a cognate discipline (e.g., Marketing to Accounting) to obtain additional degrees or change careers.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAMME
Two years of six (6) semesters (15 weeks per semester). Lectures shall take place only on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays).
COMMENCEMENT PERIOD
- Registration starts immediately.
- First Semester will commence in August.
How to Apply for AKSU Top Up/Conversion Degree Programmes Admission Form
Candidates are to log-on to the University’s Website Part-time/Top-Up Application Forum.
1. Candidates to log-on to AKSU Centre for Continuing Education Portal; http://https/www.aksu.edu.ng/ceportal
2. Pay the sum of N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only non-refundable fee.
3. Fill and submit Application Form online.
4. Duly completed Application Forms with photocopies of credentials are to be submitted to the office of the Administrative Secretary, Centre for Continuing Education, Obio Akpa Campus.
