Prolonged ASUU strike turns civil engineering student to rice seller


Following the protracted ASUU strike resulting from the inability of the Federal Government and the academic union to reach a consensus, Oluwasegun, a Civil Engineering student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University has ventured into business.
Oluwasegun who was nearing the completion of his bachelor’s degree before the strike began, took to his twitter handle to say that he has taken to selling bags of rice at Daleko Market in Mushin, Lagos state.
According to him, since ASUU asked students to learn new skills, he is using his time to sell bags of rice. He further used the opportunity to advertise to his prospective customers. See his post below:
