Mrs Glory Ojochogu Yakubu becomes second substantive Registrar of the institution.
The Governing Council of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has approved the appointment of Mrs Glory Ojochogu Yakubu as the university’s second substantive Registrar and Secretary to Council.
The appointment was ratified at a council meeting held on Monday, December 15, 2025, and presided over by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Emeritus Professor Olu Obafemi.
Following the approval, the Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, received Mrs Yakubu warmly at his office in Osara. The event was marked by prayers offered for the newly appointed Registrar by the University Chaplain, Pastor Michael Ayodele, while the outgoing University Librarian, Elder Jeremiah Salifu broke Kolanuts
During the ceremony, Prof. Salawu formally presented the handover note to Mrs Yakubu, signifying the official transfer of responsibilities.
The new Registrar was subsequently taken on a familiarization tour of the Registry Department by the Deputy Registrar(Council Affairs), Mr Eli Gbadafu, where she will oversee administrative functions and serve as the principal administrative officer of the university.
Mrs Yakubu is expected to officially resume her duties on December 17, 2025.
