Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad from Bayero University Kano has been Appointed as Honourable Minister of State for Education
In a significant development for Nigeria’s education sector, Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad of the Department of Science and Technology Education, Bayero University Kano (BUK), has been appointed as the Honourable Minister of State for Education.
Dr. Suwaiba brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously served as the Director of the Center for Gender Studies at BUK and later as the Provost of the Jigawa State College of Education and Legal Studies, Ringim. Additionally, she held the position of Head of the Department of Science and Technology Education at BUK, where her leadership and dedication earned her a stellar reputation.
The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas congratulates the new minister for her new role. The Vice Chancellor mentioned that Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad as his former student is known for her hard work, dependability, and ability to deliver on any assignment. He further said Dr. Suwaiba’s appointment is well-deserved.
