LATEST UPDATE: EKSU second semester academic calendar, 2023/2024 session

This is to inform all students of the Ekiti State University that the school management has released the second semester academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. Here are the schedule for some events for the second semester;

EKSU Academic Calendar

Initial Phase: Registration and Lectures Commencement

  • Resumption/Registration/Lectures Begin: Monday, 29th January 2024
  • Registration Ends: Friday, 9th February 2024

Starting on 29th January, the university reopens for the academic year. Ensure that you complete your registration by 9th February.

Late Registration Period

  • Late Registration Begins: Monday, 12th February 2024
  • Late Registration Ends: Friday, 16th February 2024

For students unable to register within the initial deadline, a late registration window is available until 16th February.

Orientation Programme

  • Begins: Monday, 26th February 2024
  • Ends: Friday, 1st March 2024

The orientation programme, essential for new students, runs for a week. It’s a great opportunity to acclimatise to the university environment.

Matriculation Ceremony

  • Date: Thursday, 14th May 2024

The matriculation ceremony is a significant event marking your formal entry into the university.
