Ekiti State University (EKSU) Post UTME and Direct Entry Form for the 2025/2026 Session is still on Sale. The cut-off mark is 150-260 depending on the course. The new closing date is on October 19, 2025.
This is to inform all UTME and DIRECT ENTRY (DE) candidates who have applied for admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, that the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence from Wednesday, 13th August, 2025 to October 19, 2025 (please, note that, there will be no examination).

Ekiti State University (EKSU) has officially extends its Post-UTME screening registration deadline. The new closing date is October 19, 2025, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their registration process.
Candidates who haven’t registered yet, can do so starting today via the EKSU admissions portal.
The University will also consider UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU initially but scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME, and are ready to change their first choice of institution to EKSU on their JAMB CAPS. Ekiti State University (EKSU) will give concession to successful students from its Pre-Degree and JUBEB Programmes, in keeping with Senate approval.
Candidates who are awaiting the results of their O’level examinations should not apply for the PUTME screening exercise. They are to apply as soon as the results of their O’level examinations are released.
The University’s minimum UTME scores for Medicine & Surgery, Law, Doctor of Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Mass Communication, Engineering Programmes, Computer Science, and Medical Biochemistry are 260, 250, 240, 230, 220, 200, 180,180 and 180, respectively. Candidates who have lower scores in any of the aforementioned courses may apply for PUTME screening into other courses of their choice and effect the change on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission. Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points and NOT IJMB for admission).

Candidates Eligible to Apply for EKSU Post UTME Form.
- Candidates who made Ekiti State University their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored the cut-off mark for their course:
- The eksu cut-off mark for all courses are:
- Medicine and Surgery – 260
- Nursing – 230
- Law – 250
- Other EKSU Courses – 180 – 150
- Candidates who scored lower in any of the aforementioned course may apply for post utme screening into other courses of their choice.
- Candidates who did not choose EKSU and are willing to change to the University and make them first choice are also eligible for the screening.
- Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at not more than two sitting in relevant O/level subjects.
- Candidates with awaiting results should not apply for the post utme. They are to apply for the post utme as soon as the results of the O’level examinations are released.
- EKSU will give concession to candidates who have successfully completed her pre-degree programme, in keeping with Senate approval
- Direct Entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered.
- Direct entry candidates who have a minimum of lower credit are also eligible to apply.
- Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) and NOT IJMB for admission.
How to Apply for EKSU Post UTME Form.
Tip: MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE EMAIL AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER, a verification email will be sent to you.
- To apply for 2025/2026 UTME/DE, go to eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng , click on ADMISSION, you will be directed to the online application portal. .
- Sign up by providing the required details to create an account, MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS AND PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER, a verification e-mail will be sent to you.
- After successful sign up, click LOGIN to log on to your dashboard, applicants are to log in using their CORRECT JAMB registration number as ‘username’ and enter their personal phone number as ‘password’ used while signing up.
- On your dashboard select the type of application (2025/2026 PUTME application). The next page requires inputting applicant’s JAMB Registration Number (UTME). For applicants who chose EKSU, their information will be populated automatically and they can proceed to fill in their other details. Applicants who did not choose EKSU as first choice will have to fill in all their correct details on the form page. The next page requires inputting the RRR number gotten for your payment on remita (A,1-13 above) for the verification of payment status.
- Attach your 1″ x 1″ recent colour passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only on the form page. Upload details of your O’Level result(s) obtained at not more than two sittings in the
- following examinations: WAEC/SSCE, NECO and NABTEB
- After undergoing the above steps, preview, confirm, submit and print out the completed screening form.
Pro Tip: In the password section, when you click on the eye icon, you will see the password you entered.
Note:
- Any candidates who fails to participate in the screening will not be considered for admission into the university.
- Any false information uploaded by the candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.
- EKSU gives concession to its pre-degree students in keeping with senate approval.
- There will be no examination. Screening will be strictly online.
- Direct Entry candidates should process their transcripts, which must get to EKSU via this email: [email protected] on or before Friday, 19th September, 2025 failing which their applications for admission will not be considered
EKSU Mode of Screening.
EKSU Method of Screening for 2025/2026 Session is Online Screening of O’level and UTME Result. By implication, candidates will need write any POST UTME. At the end of the post utme registration, the screening result will show.
RECOMMENDED: How to Calculate EKSU Aggregate Score.
EKSU will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects AT NOT MORE THAN TWO SITTINGS. (Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit from Polytechnics for Engineering programmes and Lower Credit for other courses. Other requirements for registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as Registered Nurse (RN); and NCE with credit/merit in relevant teaching subjects for Education programmes). Direct Entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered. Direct Entry candidates should process their transcripts, which must get to EKSU via this e-mail: [email protected] on or before October 19, 2025 failing which their applications for admission will not be considered.
Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered Direct Entry include minimum of Second Class Lower Division in related programmes for MB;BS and Law. For Nursing Science, the candidate must be for admission into the University. In addition, any false information uploaded by the candidate will lead to automatic disqualification.
