The daughter of Nigerian legislator Rabiyya Nasir Ahmad broke the record of the University of London and became the first black female law school graduate to receive a first-class law degree.

It was reported that Rabiyya Nasir Ahmad, who received a First Class Honours from Bachelor of Laws Coventry University in London, was the first black female student to obtain such an achievement in the school’s university records established in 1992.
On Thursday, Nasir Ali Ahmad, a member of the Nasarawa Federal District Council and a lawmaker from Kano, was full of joy and thanked the Almighty God for crowning his daughter’s efforts to persevere in studying the law.
“I reluctantly agreed to her consistent plea to allow her to study law, not knowing the talents Allah has bestowed her with, ‘’an elated Ahmad said.
‘’Honestly, her successful performance has also confirmed the hidden talents and brilliance many Nigerian youths are endowed with.’’
