CURSORY: The federal government has awarded a scholarship to a 17-year-old genius who designs moving robots with cardboard paper.

17-year-old genius, Isah Barde who designed mobile robots with just cardboards, has finally gotten the recognition he deserves.
Barde has been awarded a scholarship to study computer engineering, at the Baze University in Abuja, for building a functional robot from scratch with cardboard papers.
He revealed that he started building things in childhood and had started with things like tractors and excavators before moving to robots.
He said, he got his inspiration from the movies and online video and decided to start building a robot.
He started during the pandemic and it had taken him two years to build the robot with simple and everyday items.
On what his biggest challenge was, the 17-year-old revealed that some of the challenges he faced were his inability to get some of the high-powered materials that he would like to use and that some people didn’t believe in him when he started designing the robot.
Isah added that as far as robots are concerned, this is just his starting point as he planned to build bigger and better robots.
