Heavy rainfall has flooded lecture halls at the Federal University of Lafia, leaving students stranded and prompting urgent appeals from students to the school management for intervention.

Lecture halls at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) have become inaccessible following a week of heavy rainfall in Nasarawa State.
Several parts of the university premises are underwater, disrupting academic activities and hindering access to classes.
Mr. Felix, a concerned student, appealed to the school management for urgent intervention, stating, “We are unable to attend lectures because of the flooding, which has impacted many of our classrooms.
“The rains have been heavy for some days now, but we want to appeal to the school management to help us on the matter so that we won’t have to be absent from classes in the future because of the floods.”
The persistent heavy rains have prompted students to seek assistance from the university authorities.
Mr. Felix emphasized the need for preventive measures to avoid future disruptions, adding, “We hope the school management addresses this issue promptly so that we won’t miss classes due to floods.”
