FUTA Brilliant Secondary School Students Show Outstanding Class in 2024 UTME

A good number of Students of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Staff  Secondary School proved their mettle and recorded top scores  in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination,UTME conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.

Over 20 students of the school scored above 270 marks, while the under-listed rated overall best in the school.

The Principal, Mrs Olukemi Adekanmbi disclosed that the School had worked tirelessly to get good results. She noted that the students who are being showcased were products of the hard and selfless efforts of both the staff and students themselves. She expressed joy that the School was not lagging behind and assured  the momentum will be sustained to take the School to greater heights.

Commending the students, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji expressed gratitude to God for the success recorded. She thanked the teachers for their effort in instilling knowledge in the students and urged them to keep winning. She praised the students for investing time and work towards achieving good results and their parents and guardians for supporting them. Professor Oladiji urged the students not rest on their oars as they transit to tertiary education.
