Abuja, FCT – Law students at Baze University, Abuja, showcased their legal skills in a simulated armed robbery trial held on Thursday, August 7. The exercise, part of the university’s Clinical and Moot Court Practice course, was designed to give students real-world courtroom experience.
Held at the Faculty of Law’s Moot Courtroom, the trial featured 400-level students performing roles including prosecutors, defence lawyers, witnesses, and court officials. The mock trial was presided over by guest legal practitioners Babayemi Olaniyan (Lehi Attorneys) and Adamu Abbas Ahman, an alumnus of Baze University.
According to a statement shared with Legit.ng, three student teams represented the prosecution, defence counsel for the first defendant, and defence for the second and third defendants.
