“ASUU AE-FUNAI Branch views as unfortunate, the media trial to which Dr. Anyaegbunam has been subjected even before a proper investigation has been conducted on the matter.
“As a Union committed to the ideals of discipline and ethical conduct of its members, ASUU urges the security agencies and the appropriate agencies of government to follow due process in dispassionately investigating the allegations and ensuring a fair trial of the suspect having regard to his presumption of innocence until otherwise established.”
ASUU AE-FUNAI Branch has urged her members, stakeholders and the general public to remain calm as the law takes its course.
