Graduates Bow to Female Classmate Who Supported Them Academically

A viral video shows a group of male graduates emotionally prostrating before their female classmate to thank her for the academic support that helped them complete their studies.

A heartwarming video currently circulating on social media captures the emotional moment a group of male graduates lay flat on the ground to honor their female classmate, who they say played a major role in their academic success.

Graduates Show Appreciation

The young men, who had just completed their studies at a Nigerian tertiary institution, gathered around their colleague during their sign-out celebration. In the video, they prostrated before her, expressing gratitude for the many ways she assisted them throughout their academic journey.

One of them recalled how she always shared her food with him, while others praised her for patiently explaining difficult topics and ensuring they understood course materials.

Classmate Overwhelmed With Emotion

Overcome with the unexpected show of appreciation, the lady became emotional as one of the graduates admitted that without her support, they might not have graduated with their class.
“If not for you, we wouldn’t have graduated, I swear,” he said.

The gesture sparked reactions online.
A user, @Nobdylikechima, wrote:
“This is the real meaning of ‘not every queen wears a crown.’ She truly earned that respect.”

Another user, @omaajTech, added:
“Precious, thank you! You carried me through uni—how would I have graduated without you?”
