Gombe State University, GSU Admission List for 2025/2026 Session is out.


This is to inform the general public, especially candidates who purchased the Gombe State University (GSU) Post UTME Form for the 2025/2026 that the admission list is out.

How to Check GSU Admission List.
As of the time of this publication, the Gombe State University prospective students can check their admission status from JAMB and PDF File.
Check Name on JAMB Admission Portal
To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:
- Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
- Then click on Admission Status,
- You should then click on check admission status or
- Click on Access my CAPS.
- Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
- Then click on admission status
- You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
- Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
- Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
- Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!

Gombe State University (GSU) has released the first batch of the 2025/2026 UTME Admission List for undergraduate programmes. According to a statement from the Office of the Registrar dated September 29, 2025, candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various degree programmes are advised to check their admission status on the university’s official website at www.gsu.edu.ng.
The list of the admitted candidates are contained on the attached PDF file below;

Candidates can follow the procedure below to check their admission status on the GSU admission portal.
- Visit the University website www.gsu.edu.ng
- Click on the “Registration” link and select “Undergraduate”.
- Use your JAMB No. as your “username” and “gsu2025” as your default password in the login request region.
- Once you successfully login, you are required to COMPLETE your personal PROFILE information.
- Afterwards, click on the “Pay Registration Fee” link, and select the PAY option of your choice e.g Bank Branch or online payment.
- After you have successfully made your payment, go back to STEP 3.0 above, to access your Registration details Form (CAUTION: print the form or note the details of the form, for further action in STEP 7 below).
- You can now use the NEW Registration No. you obtained in STEP 6.0 above as your “username” and the default password “gsu2021”, as your password to login again and change the default password.
- Once you have successfully logged into your personal page again, click on the “Courses Registration” link to register your Courses.

GSU Clearance Documents
Candidates should come to get the Original and photocopies of each of the following credentials:
- Coloured JAMB Result Slip
- Coloured JAMB Letter of Admission
- Coloured Gombe State University Letter of Admission
- Original and Photocopies of Certificates/Statements of Results
- Local Government Indigine Certificate
- Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- One each of scratch card for O’ level results to be tendered for registration
- Ten (10) Passport size Coloured photographs
