GSU Notice on Appointment Of Mr. Hassan Shehu As University Bursar.

The Governing Council of Gombe State University has approved the appointment of Mr. Hassan Shehu as the substantive Bursar of the University, following the recommendation of the Joint Council and Senate Selection Committee.

Mr. Shehu holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Bayero University, Kano. He is a Certified National Accountant (CNA), a Fellow Chartered Economist (FCE), a Fellow Chartered Certified System Accountant (FCCSA), and also holds a Professional Fellowship Doctorate from the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN).

With over two decades of distinguished service in financial management, Mr. Shehu has held key positions in Inland Bank, the Federal Ministry of Health, the State House Abuja, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps. He also served as Finance Attaché in Nigerian Missions in Tanzania, Zambia, and Malawi. Until his appointment, he was Assistant Director at the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.
