A 400-level Library and Information science department student of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, David Lovelyn, has poured hot water on her roommate, Angel Ogbowu, causing severe skin damage to her.


According to reports, Lovelyn had engaged in a heated argument with her roommate, Angel in their hostel on Monday night, January 31, over whether or not to turn on/off the power switch as they were about to sleep.
Angel was said to have retired to bed after the exchange of words, thinking all was well only to be woken up to the hot water poured on her by Lovelyn.

The school management has been accused of protecting Lovelyn as she is yet to be arrested nor disciplined over the act.
