Based on the latest directive from Edo State Government vide a circular dated 16th January, 2021 instructing ALL SCHOOLS (tertiary institutions inclusive) in Edo State to remain closed till 1st of February, 2021 due to the spike in the second wave of the COVID-19, the Management of Igbinedion University has therefore postponed the resumption earlier scheduled for Monday 18th January 2021.
The University regrets the inconveniences caused to parents and students and will ensure the smooth completion of the academic session as earlier scheduled.


Further update on the new date of resumption will be communicated soonest.
