In JAMB, what is the meaning of Special Consideration (Waiver)??

It means, additional requirement for a particular course in a particular school. If your school have a special consideration for either O’level Requirement, UTME Subject Combination or Direct Entry Requirement, then please take note of it.

Note sometimes in special consideration column, the school requirement might be slight different from the general requirement. We advice you know your desired school’s special consideration for your course. ITS NECESSARY else you might be denied admission.

JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH

English Language(*), Mathematics and any other two (2) either Science or Social Science subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

  • (i) MAUTY requires Mathematics and any two of Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science, Physics, Geography and Economics.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH

Below is the O’level Requirement for Operations Research (UTME CANDIDATES)

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and one (1) other subject.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

  • (i) MAUTY requires Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Computer Studies/IT/ Data processing.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH

  • Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any one (1) of Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Economics or Geography.
  • ND credit in Statistics or Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

  • (i) MAUTY accepts IJMB/Two (2) A level passes in Mathematics and any one (1) of Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Economics or Geography. ND/HND/NCE at credit level in Computer Science , Mathematics, Mathematics Education or Statistics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS FOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH

Most Universities have special consideration for their UTME and Direct entry (DE) candidates. To know if your aspired school have a special consideration for you, then CHECKOUT all Universities that offers Operations Research.
