The management of Kaduna State university, KASU has extended the tenure of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University.

The 149th Senate Meeting of KASU has reaffirmed the selection of three Deputy Vice Chancellors for another period of Two Years. They are:
- Professor Muhammad Bashir Ali Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration
- Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics. Professor Yushau Ibrahim Ango
- Deputy Vice Professor Helen Afang Andow Chancellor, Strategy, Innovation and Service Delivery
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa thanked the reaffirmed DVCs for their dedication to the progress of Kaduna State University. He was particularly effusive in his praise for the harmonious working relationship he has enjoyed with them.
Speaking on behalf of the DVCs, Professor Muhammad Bashir Ali promised that they will continue to work hard towards the development of Kaduna State University.
FORENSIC GUARDS OF NIGERIA HONOURS VICE CHANCELLOR KADUNA STATE UNIVERSITY AS NATIONAL PATRON.
The Forensic Guards of Nigeria have called for collaboration with Kaduna State University KASU in advancing forensic science education as the non-governmental organisation honours Vice Chancellor Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa as National patron.
Top management officers of the university including three Deputy Vice Chancellors Professors Muhammad Bashir Ali, Yushau Ibrahim Ango and Helen Afang Andow, the Registrar of the University, Barr. Smaira Balarabe as well as the Administrator, Kafanchan Campus, Professor Hauwa Evelyn Yusuf were decorated with different categories of the Guard’s award.
The Vice Chancellor received a memorandum of understanding detailing the imperative for establishing a forensic club and an intensive training program for students in their final year of studies.
Prof. Musa expressed gratitude for recognising the university as a strategic partner in advancing forensic education. He acknowledged the challenge this recognition brings towards enhancing knowledge, research, and practical skills that benefit both students and the wider community.
The Vice Chancellor highlighted the crucial role of forensic information in identifying criminals and dealing with the issues of insecurity.
Abraham Kwaghfan, Forensic Ambassador and National Patron, shared insights into the Forensic Ambassadors Academy Ghana, Forensic Guards Nigeria and Ambassadors Africa in Benin and Togo which he collaborate to educate and raise awareness while addressing significant gaps in practice and education.
Administrator, Kafanchan Campus, Prof. Hauwa Evelyn Yusuf, who led the team to the investiture ceremony, emphasized the university’s commitment to expanding forensic education and expertise.
