CURSORY : A KNUST final year student of computer science, Kelvin Damptey student has been recognized as the best speaker at world university debate.
One of the two representative of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kelvin Damptey, a final-year Computer Science student has been given the award of the overall best speaker.
This took place at the 2024 World University Debate Championship which was held in vietnam during the final round of the competition.

Voice of KNUST made Kelvin’s achievement know in a post they made on their X account in addition to the post they made of the emergence of the school as second place in the finals of the competition.
The post read “Kelvin Damptey, a final year KNUST Computer Science student, has been named the overall best speaker at the end of the ESL Grand Finale of the 2024 World University Debate Championship held in Vietnam.”
Netizens have since commended kelvin Damptey for the award he won and for helping the school come out second place in the competition.
