KWASU Matriculation Ceremony Date 2026 Announced [UPDATED]

Kwara State University, KWASU Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 Session has been announced.

This is to inform the public especially newly admitted students of Kwara State University (KWASU) that the date for the KWASU matriculation ceremony has been announced.

This 17th Matriculation Ceremony will hold on Thursday, 22nd January 2026 as scheduled.

To this end, all the newly admitted students who have duly completed their course registration are hereby directed to contact their respective faculty officers from Wednesday 21st January 2026 to collect their academic gowns and obtain the Matriculation oath form. They are to note that the form must be completed and returned to their faculty officers immediately after the Ceremony.

In addition, all the academic gowns must be returned to the Faculty office not later than Friday 23rd January 2026.

All the matriculating students are to note the above INFO for strict compliance.

• It should be noted that swearing to the Matriculation Oath is compulsory for all fresh students.
• All fresh students should collect their Academic Gowns from their College Officers after the payment of a hiring fee.
• Students are to note that presentation of their Identity Cards is a condition for entry into the Auditorium.
• Students will be ushered in by their College Officers. Under no circumstance will any student be allowed into the Auditorium after the stipulated time.
• Students will proceed to their various Colleges after the ceremony to sign the Matriculation Register.

Academic gowns should be returned to the College Officers failing which, a fine will be charged. In the same vein, students will be surcharged ₦10,000.00 for loss or damage to academic gowns.
