MAUTECH Announces Additional Requirement For NYSC Mobilization.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has introduced a new policy requiring Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD) clearance for National Youth Service (NYSC) mobilization. Effective from 2025 Batch C, only graduates with NERD clearance will be processed for NYSC mobilization.

In light of the above, while we await further clarification from NYSC, guidance from University Management, and as a matter of urgency, all Graduates/PCMs are expected to have soft and hard copies of their projects handy. A soft copy is for upload into NERD to obtain clearance as a prerequisite for mobilization, and a hard copy, properly endorsed by the respective Head of Departments, would be among the documents Graduates/PCMs would be required to present for documentation at orientation camps if eventually mobilized.
