Not to say that all lecturers are bad, but we all know how stereotypes work. One bad banana can ruin the whole bunch. In the story below a first year student is going viral online for being tactless.
The bold action of a Nigerian 100-level student who bravely corrected his lecturer during a class has sparked various reactions online. A Twitter user with the handle @Ebuksoficial posted a photo capturing the moment of the incident.
In the picture, the freshman, who is in his first year of study, can be seen interrupting the lecturer while he was teaching, pointing out an error in what was being said. The lecturer stood aside, observing the student as he addressed the issue on the board.
This unusual act has generated significant attention on social media, as it is often assumed that students should not correct their lecturers during class sessions at universities.
