A young Nigerian lawyer has gone viral after sharing that she spent nearly ₦2 million on her Call to Bar ceremony.
From September 23 to 25, 2025, a total of 4,437 new lawyers were officially called to the Nigerian Bar. At the event, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, Chairman of the Body of Benchers, urged the new lawyers to uphold ethical standards and avoid misconduct, reminding them of the nobility of the legal profession.
Breakdown of Her Expenses
On TikTok, user @GirlIsPosh detailed her expenses, which added up to ₦1,945,000. Here’s how she spent it:
