Cursory: Nine graduates from Lagos State University’s Faculty of Law achieved first-class honors in the Bar final examination, setting a record for the university. Vice Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello praised the students’ exceptional achievement, highlighting the program’s status as a top law faculty in Nigeria.


The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, commended nine graduates from the Faculty of Law who achieved first-class honors in the recently released Bar final examination results.
This accomplishment marks the highest number of first-class honors awarded in a single academic year in the history of the university’s Faculty of Law.
The announcement was made through a statement posted on the university’s official Facebook page on Friday, February 16.
The statement highlighted the exceptional students: Akinmusire Sina Victor, Owolabi Yusuf Olatunji, Badmus Sulaimon Ayodele, Oyede Mariam Adejumoke, Afolabi Aderonke Salmat, Lawal Adebisi Bilqees, Haastrup Adetumbi Wuraola, Fagbolade Ewaoluwa Blessing, and Ogungbo Azeezat Toluwalase.
Prof. Olatunji-Bello emphasized that this achievement further solidifies the LASU Law program’s reputation as the leading faculty for aspiring law students in Nigeria.
She extended her congratulations to the Dean, Prof. Olatoye, and the entire faculty for their dedication and diligence, expressing pride in their accomplishments.
