The Management of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe (NOCEN), under the leadership of the Provost, Engr. Prof. Victor I. O. Ndirika, has approved appointments into key academic and administrative positions for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.


The appointments, which take effect from 5 August 2026, are part of the College’s strategic efforts to strengthen institutional governance, enhance academic excellence, improve administrative efficiency, and sustain its commitment to quality teacher education.
The approvals were made following the expiration of the tenures of affected office holders. Consequently, the Provost approved appointments into key directorates, units, and other strategic offices to ensure continuity in the effective administration of the College.
The appointments cover several important directorates and units, including Quality Assurance, Part-Time Programme, Research and Publications, Centre for Continuing Education, Sports, Advancement and Linkages, Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies, Examination Monitoring, as well as other critical administrative offices. They also include Heads of Academic Departments, Centre Coordinators, Chairmen, and members of various statutory committees responsible for admissions, examinations, and other essential institutional functions.
In his message to the appointees, the Provost described their appointments as a call to selfless service. He urged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, innovation, teamwork, transparency, accountability, and mutual respect. He further emphasized the importance of collective commitment to advancing the vision and mission of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe.
The College Management congratulates all the appointees and expresses confidence in their capacity to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth, stability, and academic advancement of the institution. Management wishes them a successful and impactful tenure in office.
