National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN has warned the general public of suspicious social media accounts Impersonating the Vice Chancellor.


The attention of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, has been drawn to several fake social media accounts operating on X [formerly Twitter], Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
The general public is hereby notified that:
- These accounts do not belong to, nor are they operated by, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma.
- The Vice-Chancellor does not currently operate any personal social media account for official university business.
- The said accounts are operated by fraudsters with the intent to deceive and defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
The University will issue an official statement through its verified channels when an authentic social media presence for the Vice-Chancellor is established.
Members of the public are strongly advised to disregard any communication, request, or solicitation from these fraudulent accounts and to avoid engaging with them in any form.
