Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria disclaimer notice on fraudsters impersonating rector’s Facebook page.

The Information and Protocol Office of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria wishes to draw the attention of Members of the Polytechnic, Friends, Relatives, and the General Public to the nefarious activities of an individual who had cloned a Facebook page in the name of the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi, with an ulterior motive.

The general public, particularly friends of the polytechnic and those of Engr. Dr Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi are advised not to enter monetary or contractual agreements with the impersonator.

The impersonator uses the Rector’s name and official portrait and always invites his unsuspecting Facebook friends for business discussions on his WhatsApp account (07073147499). The impersonator was reported to Facebook management but they responded that the impersonator’s action did not violate its Community Policy. However, the Polytechnic Security unit in collaboration with other Security agencies is working toward tracking down the impersonator for prosecution.
