NWU Registration Procedure for Newly Admitted Students 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

Yusuf Maitama Sule University Formerly (Northwest University) Registration Procedure for Newly Admitted Students for 2025/2026 Session.

This notice is for all students who saw their name in the recently released NWU First Batch Admission List. We are pleased to inform you that the NWU Registration procedure for newly admitted students for 2025/26 session is out.

Admitted Students SHOULD NOT use somebody’s email to do the registration. The passport you will upload should be on white background and must be recent.

CENTRAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR FRESH STUDENTS

You are required to come along with the following to “DEAR” for your documentation

• JAMB Admission Letter
• PAYMENT INVOICE RECIEPT/REMITA
• Original ‘A’ level statement of result (s) for DE Candidates
• Original ‘O’ level statement of Result(s) for both UTME and DE candidates.
• Transcript of Academic Records for Ordinary Diploma and National Diploma candidates 6. Original Primary School Leaving Certificate or Testimonial
• Original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
• Original Indigene Identification Certificate/Attestation
• Duly completed undertaking form
• Two recent white colored background Passport size Photograph (upload same into the Registration Portal for your ID Card). 
• Duly completed candidate Screening form (hereby attached)
• Letter of Reference
• Medical Certificate
• Scratch Card for checking ‘O’ Level Result(s) (NECO, WAEC etc)
• Bio-data form.
• Acceptance Confirmation letter

Note

• Ensure to come along with originals and photocopies of all above listed documents to the screening point. 
• The Central Registration will start from Monday, 23rd March 23, 2026, to Saturday, 26th April 2026.
• Candidates that do not appear for the registration within the dates specified above will be considered NOT interested in the admission.
• Candidates whose Original “O’ Level Certificates are not available at the time of screening, can present original online printout results slip.

2025/2026 FRESH STUDENTS REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Registration Commence on Monday, 23rd March 23, 2026, to Saturday, 26th April 2026

STAGE 1

• To Print your JAMB Admission letter Visit: www.jamb.gov.ng
• The fresh students to visit their faculties for screening of O’level credentials and JAMB UTME subjects.
• To go to the University Clinic for your Medical Certificate, based on the date assigned per faculty

STAGE 2

• Visit the University Portal and Click on New Registration.
• Print Payment Invoice and make payment of your registration charges via NABROLL
• Revisit the University Portal and Print Payment Receipt.
• Proceed to your Faculty registration point and present your JAMB Admission Letter, Acceptance Form, and Credentials for Screening and Documentation

STAGE 3

• For UTME students go to the University Portal and print your Course Registration Form (CRF)
• For D.E proceed to your department to copy your courses and credits loads for upload on the University portal 
• Visit the portal for Courses Registration
• Go to your Level Coordinator for authentication of CRF

STAGE 4

• Go to the Directorate of DEAR for documentation with all the listed documents for registration.
• Go to the Student Affairs Division for I.D. Card
• Go to University Library for registration

Note:

Ensure that you come along with the complete originals and 4 copies of your credentials for Documentation at the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records (DEAR)
