OAUSTECH PGDE Admission Form 2025/2026 is Out

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (Formerly Ondo State University of Science and Technology) OAUSTECH Postgraduate Diploma in Education, PGDE Admission Form 2025/2026 is now on sale. The form cost N20,000.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, through its Institute of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education, has announced the commencement of applications for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the institution, the PGDE programme is designed for graduates without teaching qualifications and serves as a prerequisite for registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). The programme also prepares candidates for the TRCN Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQEs).

Entry Qualifications

Applicants with any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc.)
  • Master’s Degree (MA/M.Sc./MPA/MBA)
  • PhD

Programme Duration

The PGDE programme runs for two semesters only.

Target Candidates

The programme is aimed at prospective teachers at all levels of education, including early childhood, primary, secondary, and tertiary education. It is also targeted at bridging the gap in the supply of qualified science teachers through professional training for prospective STEM educators.

TRCN Registration for Examinations

OAUSTECH also serves as a registration centre for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQEs).

The examination registration fees are as follows:

  • NCE – ₦7,500
  • HND/BA/B.Ed./B.Sc. – ₦9,500
  • MA/M.Ed./M.Sc./MPA/MBA – ₦11,500
  • Ph.D./DBA – ₦13,500

The PGDE application form costs ₦20,000 only.
