The Ebonyi State Police has revealed that on Sunday they arrested Felix Anyaegbulam, a university professor, on suspicion of desecrating a minor.
Anyaegbulam is Professor of Geophysics at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, (AE-FUNAI), Ikwo, Local Government Area of Ebonyi.
Anyaegbulam allegedly sexually assaulted his 13-year-old domestic helper who hails from the Ezza North local government district of the state.
The state police spokesperson, DSP Loveth Odah told reporters in Abakaliki in a WhatsApp message that the suspect has been detained by the police.
