post-UTME commences Sept 7

Today 10th August, JAMB had a meeting with Vice Chancellors, Rectors and Provosts of tertiary institutions.

In the meeting, they agreed that Schools who will conduct post utme exam should do so between September 7th and October 4th.

They also accepted to conduct a mop up exam (for candidates awaiting O’level Result or missed the exam) on November 18th.

The above is really simple; NO SCHOOL WILL CONDUCT POST UTME BEFORE 7TH SEPTEMBER 2020.

Please note that the above information only applies to schools that will conduct post utme examination.

Schools can still sell their post utme forms but their exams (for those that will conduct) must not start before September 7th.

Another important thing they agreed on is that NO SSCE candidate will be denied admission because he/she is awaiting O’level Result.

JAMB made it clear to them that all candidates awaiting O’level result should be given the opportunity to participate in the 2020/2021 Admission Exercise.
