A man revealed that a schoolmate he helped and supported throughout JSS1 to JSS3 was secretly deceiving him and taking advantage of his kindness the entire time.

A man has opened up about how a friendship he formed in junior secondary school turned into years of being taken advantage of without his knowledge.
He explained that the situation began in 2015 when he noticed a quiet classmate, Fatimah, crying near her locker before evening prep. Out of concern, he approached her and learned she hadn’t eaten because she was punished for not copying her notes. Feeling sorry for her, he gave her some juice from his bag and promised to help her later. That moment marked the beginning of their friendship.
As time went on, his kindness deepened. Throughout JSS1 to JSS3, he consistently shared his food, did her assignments, and even convinced his mother to support both of them financially, believing she was struggling at home.
However, everything changed when he eventually discovered the truth. According to him, Fatimah had been deceiving him all along. While he was sacrificing his own provisions and money to care for her, she was secretly saving hers with another student and still eating extra meals at the dining hall.
He expressed disappointment and hurt, realizing that his generosity had been exploited for years by someone he trusted deeply.
