A Nigerian single mother sparked a heated online debate after angrily calling out absentee fathers for leaving her to pay her children’s school fees alone, prompting mixed reactions about personal responsibility, parenting, and gender roles.

A Nigerian woman has gone viral after expressing deep frustration online about being left to single-handedly cover her children’s school fees. In a now widely shared post on X (formerly Twitter), she lashed out at absentee fathers, blaming them for abandoning their responsibilities.
“I just single-handedly paid my children’s school fees again. All I can say is may God punish all men who made us single mothers and left the responsibilities for us to handle alone. God go punish men. E no go better for una,” she wrote.
The emotional post ignited mixed reactions across social media. While some sympathized with her struggles, others criticized her for blaming men while ignoring her own choices.
