The teacher named Ezeugo Joseph, has been allegedly beaten to death by a student in ABraka, Dealta State.
This incident has been confirmed by the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Bright Edafe.
Narrating what led to the incident, he said: ”The suspect confronted the teacher because he flogged his younger sister. He hit the teacher and the teacher collapsed. The teacher was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead”.
DSP Edafe has however said that the suspect and his parents have fled their apartment while the sister, Promise who was allegedly flogged by the teacher is currently in protective custody.
Hmmm! What might have given the student the courage to beat his teacher to the extent of death? We are living in a strange world and strange things keep happening each day.

The police should follow up the case and find the whereabouts of the student and bring him to book. Doing that will serve as a deterrent to others of his type.
