Gabby Goodwin, an 18-year-old entrepreneur from the U.S., has secured over $1 million in scholarships and offers from eight universities. Gabby started her business journey at just seven with the launch of GaBBY Bows, a patented non-slip hair barrette brand. With three U.S. patents and a thriving business under her belt, Gabby now sets her sights on becoming a business analyst.

She received both full and partial scholarships, including four full-ride offers, ultimately choosing Vanderbilt University. There, she plans to study Economics and Mathematics, with a minor in Business Analytics.

Gabby also announced a children’s book deal with HarperCollins. Her upcoming title, Naturally Me at the Confidence Salon, aims to inspire confidence and self-love in young readers.

“Confidence has always been important to me,” she said. “I want girls like me to see themselves in my book and feel empowered to pursue their own dreams.”
