UNICAL Post UTME Form 2026/2027 is Out [UPDATED]

This is to inform all UTME and direct entry (DE) prospective students of the University of Calabar, (UNICAL) that the 2026/2027 Post UTME and direct entry form has been released.

Registration will start on  1 June 2026, and will be shut down at 12.00 midnight on 31 July 2026

Candidates Eligible to Apply for UNICAL Post UTME Form.

Candidates eligible for the screening are:

1. Candidates that made the University of Calabar (UNICAL) as their FIRST choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
2. For an applicant to be eligible for the exercise, he/she must have scored 150 and above in the 2026 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

How to Apply for UNICAL Post UTME Form.

• Visit the UNICAL Post UTME portal.
• Enter the correct JAMB Registration Number on the home page to verify details and eligibility.
• Fill out the required registration details after successful verification.
• Provide a valid email address and an active personal phone number.
• Pay the ₦2,000.00 screening fee online with an ATM card, bank transfer, or USSD through the payment platform.
• Confirm all entries, click SUBMIT, and print the completed registration slip.

Each step matters because the application depends on correct validation, payment, and final submission. A candidate should print the slip after successful payment.

The date for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise would be made known upon completion of the application, on the PUTME Screening Schedule Printout. . Candidates are strictly advised to ensure that their correct phone numbers are provided while filling the form online as the University will communicate with them directly.

Some Important Things to Know about UNICAL Post UTME?

NOTE:

1. Candidates are required to come with their original UTME result slips showing candidate’s photograph;
2. The Post UTME exercise is O’ LEVEL POINT GRADING SYSTEM
3. Special candidate with any form of disability should please indicate during registration.

IT MUST BE FURTHER NOTED THAT:

• a.) Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents and may be liable to up to 5 years imprisonment
• b.) Any candidate who fails to take part in the screening exercise automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.
• c.) Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid congestion in the dying hours.
• d.) Candidates are advised to check the Portal for their venue and time of the CBT. Candidates are strictly advised to ensure that their correct phone numbers are provided while filling the form online as the University will communicate with them directly.
