UNIJOS policy on return of unclaimed copies of NYSC exemption certificates

University of Jos, UNIJOS policy on return of unclaimed copies of NYSC exemption certificates by corps producing institution.

Please refer to our letter dated 17th May, 2023 on the above subject have been directed to inform you that the University of Jos still has unclaimed Certificates of Exemption for the year 2005 to date at the Directorate of Student Affairs, ready for collection. Also, Certificates of Exemption for batch “B” 2023 are available for collection within the next six (6) months.

As the President of the University of Jos Alumni Association (UJAA) worldwide, you are requested to kindly and urgently inform all University of Jos graduands, from 2005 to date, who were exempted from national service and are yet to collect their Certificates to urgently do so before 29th September, 2023 after which the Certificates that are not collected will be returned to the NYSC Directorate Headquarters, Abuja.

Please note that the affected graduands are expected to come along with their Original University of Jos Certificates/Testimonials for collection of their Exemption Certificates. Proxy collection of certificates will not be entertained.
