University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) now have a new Registrar.


The Governing Council of the University of Ilorin has approved the appointment of Mr. Mansur Adeleke Alfanla as the new Registrar of the institution.
This was made known at the 183rd Council Meeting of the University on Thursday, 23rd March, 2023.
Alfanla, who is currently a Deputy Registrar and Secretary, Postgraduate School of the institution, and a member of Council will take over as the 7th Registrar of the Ivory Tower, from the outgoing Registrar, Dr. Fola Olowoleni, whose five-year tenure expires on April 28, 2023.
The Registrar Designate is a graduate of English and Law from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University and University of Ilorin respectively.
He is also a unionist per excellence who has meritoriously served as a former Branch Secretary of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, Unilorin Branch (2005-2008); Branch Chairman (2008-2015) and National Treasurer, SSANU (2015-2020).
Born on 28th August, 1970, Alfanla is a native of Ilorin in Kwara State.
