UNILORIN Allocation of Hostel Accommodation Notice to All Students.
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Student Affairs Unit has announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 allocation exercise for university-owned hostels.
According to a bulletin signed by the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Alex Akanmu, the allocation process will be conducted online through students’ portals.
The statement revealed that returning students will have the opportunity to ballot for bed spaces on Friday, October 3, 2025, while fresh students will take their turn on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Students are advised to complete the payment of all University Charges to qualify for access to hostel accommodation.
The university also emphasized that bed spaces are neither transferable nor for sale, warning students to strictly adhere to the guidelines.
This announcement was contained in the Unilorin Bulletin (News Extra) released on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Students are enjoined to note that bed spaces are not transferrable or sellable.
